Following the success of the the joint CIPS/UCLA seminar last fall, the spring semester seminar will once again be delivered over Zoom and are open to everyone, and will be jointly organized with colleagues at UCLA.   Seminars are held Wednesdays from 1:00-2:00 pm. A radio telescope array being built in South Africa to explore the period after stars first formed in the early universe has received $5.8 million in new funding from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation.
